The Clearing

Beth steps from the forest and looks around the large clearing she had just entered. Her dark hair hang in limp curls to frame her pale face. her slender figure clad in a simple white, knee length dress. She places a hand on the tree beside her as she begins to think of what needed to be done.

She would not be able to do it alone. She would need help but who could help her. She was new, She knew nobody.

She sighs quietly, making her way across the clearing towards a large willow tree beside the lake. Sitting beneath its sweeping branches she slides her shoes off, resting her feet in the water.

Her pale white hair glimmered in the light as it flowed over her shoulders as she stepped out from the shadow's gently stroking her brand mark she looked around to see a lady she walked over softly and sat a bit away from the lady as she dipped her bare feet in the water still stroking her brand mark.

She let out a soft sigh as she lifted her palm up to the light and the marking glittered like her skin but more silvery she brought her hand back down and gently moved her fingers over her guardian mark on her neck. Her sapphire blue eyes searching around knowing her guardian would be watching her from the shadows. Her name: Velvet Shadowheart or Vel

I step into the clearing, aiming down the sight of my M16. Once I'm sure that there is no Flood here, I shoulder my rifle and look around.
"Hmm, this would make a good spot for a new military outpost." I said to myself.

I turned my head around slightly as I saw a male walking into the clearing I gulped when i saw the gun. I stood up and pelted towards a tree. I winced as my guardian mark burnt into my neck. I gently stroked it trying to calm my mark down. My guardian indeed was watching me from the shadows he climbed the tree i was in and gently touch my guardian mark. i whispered "Thank you Matt."
Matt smiled and said "Momma you know I'll do anything to help you." He gently kissed my forehead and jumped down from the tree and continued to watch from the shadows.

I noticed a woman staring at me from the wood, a man standing behind her. Thinking that the man was about to kill her, I aimed my M16 at him and shouted, "Step away from her, now! I am General Christopher Dragonson of the United States Marine Corps., and you will stand down!"

Matt growled and so did I. Matt jumped out of the tree and his Guardian aura surrounded him he growled "Please may you lower your gun, my name is Matt and I'm this lady's guardian."
I jumped down from the tree and shot towards the general and grabbed his gun and lowered the gun and said with my most liking voice "He wouldn't hurt me ever now please listen to him."

As the woman started to make a grab for my rifle I started moving forwards, and just as I moved the butt of my rifle hit her in the face. I stopped and knelled down beside her, dropping my weapon.
"Are you alright ma'am? I'm sorry about that. It was a complete accident." I said as I prepared a Cure Minor Wounds spell.

I said "A bit shaken up but I'm fine. Please don't do it again guns are one things i fear most." I grabbed his shoulder gently and pulled him off his knees. I said "Please what may i call you? I'm Velvet Shadowheart and my guardian over there is my son Matt."
Matt bowed his head as he was by my side in a few seconds.

Well, as I had called out earlier, I am General Christopher Dragonson of the United States Marine Corps. It's nice to meet you miss Shadowheart." I said, holding my hand out to the strange woman.

I smiled and shook his hand knowing all to well what my skin would feel against the man's hand. I said "Nice to meet you General Christopher Dragonson. Please call me Velvet or Vel."
Matt nodded and said "Nice to meet you General Christopher Dragonson." His guardian mark was in eyes view and it glinted in the light and made it shimmer a silver colour.

"Please, call me Chris or Christopher. Only those that are in the Marines call me General." I said. "Now, what is up with your hand? Why is it so cold?"

I smiled and said "Ok Chris. Umm I don't know if I should really tell you that cause you will probably run away." Matt looked at me and carefully to see what colour my eyes were he relaxed when they were sapphire blue. Matt smiled as his wrist glinted in the light. He said "I'm sorry if you thought I was going to hurt my momma. I only hurt people who want to hurt her."

I asked "Are you sure you want to know?" Matt continued to watch me carefully so i wouldn't loose control.

I nodded and smiled so my fangs would be seen and said "Ok I'm a vampire Chris." Matt watched me extra carefully just in case I lost control.

I sat down next to Chris and said "Yes it is a guess but don't worry I don't like human blood I hunt animals instead and drink their blood." Matt wrapped his arms around my shoulders and said "Its the same with me Chris I to am a vampire but only drink animal blood."

she walks in with a wolf at her side ..the wolf nuzzled my hand and she looked down smiling... having the afinity for the earth was great... several flowers sprouted at her feet that where bare her dress was all natural earth clorors and was the style of a fearies dress her long brown hair hung down her back and she smiledseeing other beings ...she started to walk toward them flowers sprouting with ever step and the wolf walking next to her like well trained dog

I looked and asked "Chris is your sister scared of vampires?" I looked at the girl the and the wolf. Matt wrapped protectivally around me.

she smiled and told the wolf "release" and the wolf ran up and started licking chris's face ...she giggled " im the spirited of the family .. and i have powers of greatness" she smiled to the lady
