I smiled and said "I really just stumbled into the clearing one evening, and decided to stay here." Matt smiled and said "And I had to come with her to protect her."

I smiled and said "Yes it is glad he is here to protect me." I wrapped my hands around Matt's neck as he hugged me. Matt smiled and gently stroked my hair then said "Momma it is my job to protect you."

I listened realizing I was getting a bit hungry but ignoring the feeling. I kept my arms around Matt's neck as my eyes changed from blue to silver. Matt looked at my eyes and mindlinked *Your getting hungry momma.* I replied *Indeed i am Matt but I'm fine for now.*

I smiled and said "Thank you, I don't really drink any human creature's blood, but if you insist I will this once." I bit into Suki's wrist and started drinking her blood. It tasted so sweet on my tongue. Matt smiled and stroked my hair as i drank just watching Suki carefully in case I took to much blood.

I nodded as I felt full again after a small amount of Suki's blood. I pulled my lips away from her wrist and said "Wow that was ever so nice." I licked my lips and lent back against Matt and looked up to him my eyes now sapphire blue he smiled. Matt smiled and bowed his head in respect and said softly "Thank you for helping momma. What may we call you our names are Matt and Velvet Shadowheart, but just call us Matt and Velvet or vel." He stroked my hair again as i lent back into him after feeding.

I smiled and said "Nice yo meet you Suki. Thank you again for letting me feed." I continued leaning into Matt's chest as he stroke my hair as Chris moved away from us. Matt smiled and said "Yes we do Chris. Nice to meet you too Suki." Matt moved his sleeves up his arm to revel his guardian mark on his wrist.

Into the clearing walked a strange girl, the same age as Tsukiko, wearing a blinding pink dress. When she saw Tsukiko she squealed and ran up to her, wrapping her arms around her neck.
"Sissy!" she exclaimed.

I smiled as another girl came into the clearing and stood up and walked into the shadows with Matt not far behind me still with his guardian mark in full view. I smiled as I gently stroked the back of my neck under my hair as my guardian mark tingled a bit. Matt smiled and whispered "Is your mark tingling to momma?" He gently stroked his guardian mark as we walked into the shadows to watch the sisters. I nodded and whispered back "Indeed it is Matt, why do you think I made my way to the shadows."

My mark tingled some more as I watched from the shadows still stroking my neck. Matt gently stroked his mark to as it tingled some more as well.
