I shook my head and said softly "No I haven't seen for years maybe more." I lent on Chris' chest as he traced the heart on my hand. My hair fell off the back of my neck to revel my guardian mark.

"Then maybe it's time for you to get back in touch of her, Velvet." I said, smiling at her and moving my finger up her arm to her Guardian Mark and started tracing that.

I smiled slightly and said softly "I don't think she would talk to me though its been ages." I lent some more into Chris chest as he traced my guardian mark. Matt smiled and mindlinked *Momma I like seeing you happy.*

I smiled and said "Maybe but I don't know any details to contact her on hun." I kept my head on Chris' chest as he continued stroking my guardian mark. I mindlinked back *I know you do Matt."

"I have scrying spells, Velvet. I have spells of teleportation. I can help you get to her." I said, still tracing her Mark and leaning in to kiss her again.

I shook my head and said "I don't think it would be worth it, I'm sure my brand mark will go back to hurting me again, I don't really want to go through that again." I kissed Chris back and my brand mark was glowing really bright now.

"Then do you mind if I talk to her?" I ask, holding her close and tracing her Mark more.

I shook my head and said "If you would like to be my guest Chris." I kept laying on his chest as I remembered Cassie ever so clearly. A tear rolled down my cheek and landed on Chris' shirt.

"What's wrong, Velvet? Why are you crying?" I ask, stopping my tracing of her mark and just holding her close.

I said softly "I'm just remembering Cassie, Chris that's all and its making me sad." I kept my head where it was on Chris' chest as my mark continued to glow and I thought it started to hurt me again.

I nodded and said "maybe we should but I need to talk about it or it will keep inside me and bottle up." I gently stroked my branded hand and I was right it did start hurting me again I tried not to wince in pain.

I smiled and said softly "thank you Chris, but I'll be fine really." I gently stroke my branded hand as it glowed trying to stop it from hurting me.

Matt giggled from outside at Suki's reaction to his momma and her brother. I looked around slighty and mindlinked *Suki its not that bad it could be a lot worse.*
