I smiled and said weakly "No probelm Chris, I couldn't think of anything else besides kiss you, I'm amazed it worked, but i am weak because when I shot a ball at you it weakened me a bit and I'm weak now cause of my aura must remember to be careful and so does Matt."

I smiled and kissed him back and said weakly "Yes it does. I wouldn't think we would ever fall in love Chris, never." Matt came back around as he saw me and Chris really close together he climbed out of tree and walked over to us and asked "What did i miss?" I smiled and said "A lot Matt."

I recall the events of what happened in Ebon Hold to Matt, then ask, "So, what do you think about your mother and I being in love?"

Matt smiled and said "I think it is the best Chris." I smiled and kept close to Chris as I tried to fall asleep in his arms.

Matt moved away from us and went back to the tree. I smiled and let out a happy sigh and I fell asleep.

I carry Velvet to my house, set her down on the bed in my room, then sit down in the chair, where I fall asleep.

I wake up in the chair and watch Velvet laying on the bed, smiling.

I smile in my sleep and didn't realize my brand mark was glowing. Matt watched and from his tree and saw my brand mark was glowing on my hand and he wondered why cause it had been ages since it did glow.

I continue to sit there and silently watch her, realizing the depth of my love for her.

Matt mindlinked *Chris can't you see her brand mark glowing?* I rolled over in my sleep to revel my branded hand it was glowing and I didn't know it was.

I walk over to where Velvet lay sleeping on the bed and looked at her mark. "What's going on here?" I mutter to myself.

Matt mindlinked *I don't know Chris, it hasn't glowed for well years. I think because she is getting stronger with the love for you cause I remember when her friend's locket did that mark when ever that friend was in danger it hurt her, by the looks of things its not hurting her so I think its just glowing cause she has fallen in love with you. Touch gently see if its warm or cold.*

I reach out and stroke Velvet's skin, primarily where the mark is, and whisper, "Such beauty! Why haven't I ever noticed this before?"

I let out a happy sigh in my sleep as I felt Chris' hand stroking my skin. My brand mark glowed some more.

"Good morning, Velvet." I say, smiling, as I hear her sigh and see her mark glow even brighter. My aura that always surrounds me grew brighter in response.
